Houston, TX. –10 professional coaches from Houston are offering Low cost professional coaching February 12, 2010 from 8am-8pm at the 3rd Annual career, life and business “Coach-a-thon,” benefiting the Harriet and Joe Foster Family YMCA, located at 1234 W. 34th Street Houston, Texas 77018

Anyone who is interested in experiencing professional coaching is eligible, providing they do not currently have a coach or been in a coaching relationship in the last six months. Coaching is offered by some of the best coaches in Houston.

“I wanted to find a way to benefit the YMCA Partners Campaign while bringing coaching to people who may otherwise not have access to it,” said Mattison Grey of Greystone Guides, a professional coaching firm. “The YMCA is an organization that is very near to my heart, and coaching is a service I genuinely believe helps people have better lives” Grey said.

“Monies raised by the event will provide people in our community the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs they would otherwise not be exposed to for financial reasons. Those involved in the “Coach-a-thon” are making dreams come true for so many kids and families  in our neighborhood. We are so blessed to have Mattison Grey, from our board of directors, coordinating the 2010 Coach-a-thon” said Landrum Turner, Executive Director, Harriet and Joe Foster Family YMCA.

To qualify for a coaching session, individuals must sign up in advance at the Greystone Guides website www.greystoneguides.com. Once registered, participants will be contacted by phone to verify eligibility, be assigned a coach and confirm the schedule of their session.

After the coaching session clients will be informed about the mission of the YMCA and asked if they’d like to make a donation to the Harriet and Joe Foster Family YMCA’s Partners Campaign. Proceeds from the campaign allow children and families who could otherwise not afford it to participate in YMCA programs like child care, swim lessons, sports, exercise programs, summer day camp and more. Those who participate will also have the opportunity to continue their relationship with their coach.

The 3rd Annual Coach-a-thon is sponsored by Greystone Guides professional business coaching. For more information about Greystone Guides log on to www.greystoneguides.com, call 832-283-2476 or contact coach@greystoneguides.com.
